Our primary mission has always been and still is assure preservation of assets that will at some point in time become your estate. An estate is everything you own at the time of your death minus your debts and liabilities.
Preservation of estate basically involves three major tasks:
- avoiding paying unnecessary taxes;
- making sure that your beneficiaries get what YOU intended them to get;
- avoiding potential conflicts between or among the beneficiaries or potential beneficiaries.
A will which was not properly drafted or not properly executed is a time bomb ready to explode after you are gone and unable to correct the unintended mistakes. We make sure that your true testamentary wishes are fulfilled in full compliance with all the terms of your Will.
Estate Planning and Wills is one of those areas of law where we cannot expect to receive letters of gratitude from our clients for the simple reason that what we do for them starts working the moment they are no longer with us. This imposes a special sense of responsibility on us.
